Rome E-Prix Preview release
We made a very positive start to the 2021 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship and are pleased to be sitting top of the team championship after two excellent performances from Mitch and Sam in Saudi Arabia. Rome will be a challenge with both drivers in Group 1 qualifying so we are not resting on our laurels. The team have been putting in many hours and long days to ensure we put ourselves in the best position possible heading to Rome. After celebrating our first Formula E victory at the Rome E‑Prix in 2019, it holds a special place in the team’s heart and we will be certainly looking to keep this positive momentum.
James Barclay
Team Director Jaguar Racing
I cannot wait to head to Italy for the first time with Jaguar Racing and get back out on track in the Jaguar I‑TYPE 5. We started our racing partnership incredibly well with a victory in Diriyah last time out. In the past Rome has been kind to me – I won there in 2018. Mitch and I are both in Group 1 for qualifying in round three which will be tough but we will be giving it everything to keep the team out in front.
Sam Bird
#10 Jaguar Racing driver
The Rome E‑Prix brings back very special memories for everyone at Jaguar Racing – it was my first with the team in Formula E and that maiden winning feeling will remain with me forever. As we head to Rome we need to build on the momentum we achieved in Saudi Arabia and hopefully all the hard work will secure us more on‑track success.

The double header race weekend in the Italian capital starts on Saturday 10 April 2021 at 16:00 local time (CET) with the second race less than 24 hours later on Sunday 11 April at 13:00 (CET).
