- Team focussed on delivering podium performance at most successful track to date
- The Jaguar I‑PACE eTROPHY – the world’s first all‑electric production‑based series and ABB FIA Formula E support series – returns in Mexico for the second round of the 10‑race series
- Mexico City E‑Prix takes place on 16 February 2019
We’ve set really good pace so far in this season – we had a tough start in Marrakesh and in Santiago qualifying compromised the race. In Mexico we will be concentrating on getting qualifying right so that we put ourselves in the best position to compete for a podium. It’s great to have my brother competing alongside me in the Jaguar I‑PACE eTROPHY. Simon won the first race in Ad Diriyah so hopefully we can both share some success in Mexico.

I had a good race in Mexico last season, finishing just off the podium in fourth, and will be looking to go one step further this year. I like the track in Mexico City and the Jaguar I‑TYPE has always performed well there. We have a fast race car, but we must convert potential to points on the track. Santiago taught us that we must fight aggressively and qualifying will be crucial.”

Qualifying compromised our results in Santiago, and that will be our key focus going into Mexico. If we are to compete for a podium finish, we must capitalise on the potential of the Jaguar I‑TYPE 3 and optimise qualifying. Our progress through the field has been impressive throughout the start of the season, and that is hugely promising for us. We will continue to push for our first podium finish of the 2018/2019 season. The return of the Jaguar I‑PACE eTROPHY is also extremely exciting for Jaguar, and we look forward to another competitive and nail biting race in Mexico.
