  • Type 00 continues its global tour at Monterey Car Week, August 13 – 17
  • Two exclusive events will showcase Type 00: Motorlux, August 13 and The Quail, a Motorsports Gathering, August 15
  • Jaguar Type 00 previews what’s to come from Jaguar, as the brand recaptures the original ‘Copy Nothing’ ethos of its founder, Sir William Lyons

Mahwah, NJ – Monday August 11, 2025: Jaguar’s bold design vision, Type 00, returns to the US for its debut at Monterey Car Week, after captivating global audiences. Type 00 has appeared on the streets of Paris, on an ocean terrace in Monaco’s harbor and most recently in a display at the iconic Goodwood Festival of Speed in the United Kingdom. Type 00 is presented in French Ultramarine; a bespoke color developed in‑house by the Jaguar creative team. The striking paintwork, exuberant proportions and dramatic silhouette promise an unforgettable showcase of Jaguar’s design vision to seasoned enthusiasts and luxury clientele at one of the world’s most prestigious automotive events.

Jaguar will make a bold statement throughout Monterey Car Week, introducing luxury aficionados to the future of our storied brand. Wherever it appears, Jaguar Type 00 makes a future facing statement on fearless design and breaking automotive conventions.

Event highlights:

Motorlux – Type 00 will be on display at Motorlux on Wednesday, August 13, the premier opening event of Monterey Car Week, known for its blend of rare cars, aviation, culinary experiences, and high‑end hospitality.

The Quail, a Motorsports Gathering – Type 00 will also appear at The Quail on Friday, August 15, one of the most widely attended and revered events of Monterey Car Week—renowned for honoring the finest in automotive design, performance, and innovation.

“Open Studio” ‑ Celebrating Design, Culture, and Originality – Jaguar, fearless in its bold creativity, is delivering an immersive experience on Saturday 16 August entitled “Open Studio”. Invited guests are welcomed into a world where creativity and visionaries converge, featuring conversations with creators and a presentation of the fashion brands setting new trends. At the center of it all will be the bold and fearless Type 00, showcasing the future design language of Jaguar. Jaguar Managing Director Rawdon Glover and Chief Exterior Designer Constantino Segui will present Type 00 to the tastemakers, collectors and automotive enthusiasts in attendance, offering exclusive insight into the brand’s evolving design philosophy and how this bold concept signals the next chapter in Jaguar’s creative renaissance.

“Open Studio” is presented in partnership with Harper’s BAZAAR and Road & Track.
