I am deeply saddened to be writing to inform you of a tragic event involving a member of the Jaguar UK PR team.
Whilst on holiday last week, Jaguar UK Senior Press Officer Jon Morgan suffered a severe physical injury which left him in a critical condition. Jon was hospitalised on Tuesday and placed in an intensive care ward. Jon was extremely physically fit, and he fought bravely against all odds while in hospital. Sadly however, Jon passed away on Thursday 24 March 2016.
Our prayers and deepest condolences are with Jon's family as they mourn his tragic loss. Jon's legacy will live on through his wonderful daughter Evie, who lives with her mother in London.
I am sure this is a tremendous shock to you, as it has been for our team. Jon was a hugely popular man at Jaguar Land Rover, having made the successful transition from journalism to public relations in 2014. Jon was a very talented writer and undoubtedly a future star in the automotive industry. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
