Jaguar has been presented with the award for 'Best Sports Sponsorship (under £750K)' for its sponsorship of the England Cricket Team at the prestigious Hollis Sponsorship Awards in London last night.  The partnership, which began in April 2010 and lasts for an initial four year period, sees all England centrally contracted cricketers drive XJ, XF and XK models.

Commenting on the success, Jaguar's marketing director, Patricia Muckle said: 'This is a terrific honour for Jaguar.  Cricket ranks very highly among Jaguar's target customers and we have seen huge interest in the campaign from the players, public and our dealers.  We look forward to continued success over the next three years.'

In April 2010 Jaguar appointed associative marketing agency brandRapport to provide consultancy, activation and PR for its sponsorship of the England Cricket Team.  brandRapport was also involved in the negotiation of Jaguar's new partnership with the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) in November 2010 and is now responsible for the activation of their tennis programme.

brandRapport managing director, Andy Dwyer, added: 'It's always exciting to work on new sponsorship programmes and it has been a pleasure to work for a brand that has approached its sponsorship with such enthusiasm and innovation.  This approach has enabled it to make the most of the recent successes enjoyed by the England Cricket Team.'
