WHAT’S NEW FOR JAGUAR: 2019 / 2020 MODEL YEAR HIGHLIGHTS

(Mahwah, N.J.) – This press release serves as a broad overview of enhancements made to Jaguar vehicles for the 2019 and 2020 model year. Please follow the links below for more detailed, press information and images. This document will be updated on an ongoing basis; check back often as new information is released regularly.

In 2015, the Jaguar brand announced a new approach in the U.S. market with updated pricing and customer care strategies aimed at transforming its presence in the market ahead of launching the Jaguar XE and F-PACE.

With the addition of the Jaguar E-PACE and the battery electric I-PACE, the New Generation of Jaguar lineup expands to seven models for the first time in the brand’s storied history, while new model derivatives like the Jaguar F-PACE SVR diversify the portfolio offering customers greater choice.

Every new Jaguar vehicle comes with Jaguar EliteCare, a Best-in-Class ownership package². This warranty is further expanded for Jaguar I-PACE customers, covering the electric battery for 8-years / 100,000 miles and a 70 percent state of health⁷.

All 2019 vehicles equipped with the Jaguar InControl Touch Pro^™ or Touch Pro Duo^™ infotainment systems with navigation, InControl^® Apps^™, and Wi-Fi connectivity will be available with a ‘Smartphone Pack’ which includes Apple CarPlay^® and Android Auto^™3,10. The Smartphone Pack will be offered either as optional or standard equipment, depending on the model and trim level¹. This feature is equipped as standard on all 2020 model year Jaguar vehicles.

Drivers can interact with key mobile apps, such as Spotify, WhatsApp and, with the release of iOS12, Waze through the vehicle’s touchscreen, in a manner similar to a smartphone. Where equipped, certain functionality can even be controlled via the vehicle’s Voice Control, providing additional convenience. Owners will simply connect their smartphone to the vehicle via a compatible USB cable and select Apple CarPlay^® or Android Auto^™ on the vehicle’s touchscreen^3,10.

In addition to the new Smartphone Pack, Jaguar has made several other key enhancements to the InControl Touch Pro^™ infotainment system for the 2019 model year, including:

• Voice command for Navigation functionality introduced for select models
• Major graphical refresh on the “Home,” “Extra Features” and “Customizable Homepage” screens
• Minor user experience changes to the button and icon placement on “Media Screen”
• Additional short cut buttons on the home screen for key functions within Navigation, Media and Phone

2020 JAGUAR E-PACE

Now in its third year of production, the Jaguar E-PACE is a five-seat compact performance SUV that packs the design and performance of a Jaguar sports car into a practical and connected all-wheel drive vehicle. With sporty design cues and trademark Jaguar driving dynamics, the E-PACE joins the growing Jaguar SUV family alongside the F-PACE and I-PACE performance SUVs.

The 2020 model year introduces a new E-PACE Checkered Flag Limited Edition model, with distinctive design features and a model exclusive color. The broader E-PACE lineup features enhanced connectivity with Apple CarPlay^® and Android Auto^™ now standard across the model range.

• New E-PACE Checkered Flag Limited Edition model features a variety of distinctive exterior and interior design cues including unique front and rear bumpers, ebony leather interior with red stitching and Checkered Flag branding throughout
• E-PACE entry model features expanded standard equipment such as 10-way power adjustable leather seats and LED headlamps with signature daytime running lights (DRL)
• Apple CarPlay^® and Android Auto^™ now offered standard throughout the E-PACE model line^3,10
• Blind Spot Assist now available both as a stand-alone option or part of an optional driver assistance package on select trims⁴ 
• Front center console has been optimized for improved storage space

2020 JAGUAR F-PACE

Now in its fourth year of production, the F-PACE continues to be the best-selling model in the Jaguar lineup.

The 2020 model year introduces two new limited edition models to the F-PACE model line, Checkered Flag and 300 Sport, as well as enhanced standard interior and connectivity features throughout. Customers can specify the Jaguar F-PACE with four available gasoline powertrains including, 246hp and 296hp 2.0 Ingenium turbocharged four-cylinder engines, 380hp 3.0L supercharged V6, and 550hp 5.0L supercharged V8 – exclusive to the range topping F-PACE SVR.

• New Checkered Flag and 300 Sport Limited Edition models feature a variety of unique exterior and interior design cues and are respectively powered by 246hp and 296hp 2.0L Ingenium turbocharged gasoline engines
• Apple CarPlay^® and Android Auto^™ now offered standard throughout the F-PACE model line^3,10
• Enhanced standard interior features also include Ambient Interior Lighting across the core F-PACE lineup, along with Four-Way Adjustable Powered Lumber Support for first row seating in Premium models
• Refined exterior paint color palette includes new Portofino Blue and Eiger Grey

2019 JAGUAR I-PACE

All-new for 2019, the Jaguar I-PACE joins the ‘PACE’ family of Jaguar SUVs and is the first battery electric vehicle (BEV) to be offered by the Jaguar brand. The mid-size performance SUV has a bold, cab-forward design that combines a supercar silhouette and sports car driving characteristics, with the flexibility of an EPA estimated electric range of 234 miles⁸ and five-seat SUV versatility.

• All-wheel drive performance from twin Jaguar-designed concentric motors deliver a combined 394hp and 512 lb-ft of torque providing 0-60mph acceleration in 4.5 seconds⁵
• 90kWh battery delivers an EPA estimated electric range of 234 miles⁸ and owners can achieve 80 percent battery charge from empty in approximately 40 minutes using a 100kW DC fast charger⁹
• Standard regenerative braking system enables option of single-pedal driving to enhance range and efficiency
• The first Jaguar to incorporate the new Jaguar InControl^® Touch Pro Duo^™ infotainment system featuring 10-inch upper and 5.5-inch lower touchscreens³
• Apple CarPlay^® and Android Auto^™ available as part of the standard Smartphone Package^3,10
• New EV Navigation factors in route topography, driving style and more to help optimize vehicle range when determining potential routes to a destination³

2020 JAGUAR F-TYPE

Since its launch in 2012, the Jaguar F-TYPE has established itself as a key competitor in the sport car segment, winning more than 170 global awards. For the 2020 model year, the Jaguar F-TYPE model lineup receives several updates including simplification of the model range and the introduction of the Checkered Flag Limited Edition model. Two all new exterior paint colors are now on offer – Eiger Grey and Portofino Blue, and the standard equipment list is enhanced by the standardization of popular features such as Smartphone Pack (which contains Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™) and Front Parking Aid.

• F-TYPE models selectively powered by 4-, 6- and 8-cylinder engines ranging from a 296hp turbocharged 4-cylinder to the 575hp 5.0L supercharged V8 found in the F-TYPE SVR
• F-TYPE Checkered Flag Limited Edition model revealed; based on the F-TYPE R-Dynamic, it features a range of subtle visual enhancements to the exterior and to the driver focused cabin
• Jaguar InControl^® Touch Pro³ with 10-inch touchscreen, now standard on all F-TYPE models, features a refreshed interface
• Smartphone Package now standard across the model line providing Apple CarPlay^® and Android Auto^™ functionality^3,10
• Front Parking Aid joining suite of standard Driver Assistance features including Lane Keep Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition, Adaptive Speed Limiter, Emergency Braking and Driver Condition Monitor⁴

2020 JAGUAR XE 

The Jaguar XE compact sports sedan receives significant updates for the 2020 model year. The newly refreshed model features an enhanced exterior design; all-new luxurious interior featuring new materials and layout; new advanced infotainment and drivers’ assistance technologies; and a simplified model lineup, reaffirming its position within the competitive compact sedan segment.

• Enhanced exterior design offers a more assertive appearance with new front and rear bumpers, new grille design and premium all-LED headlights and tail lights with distinctive LED signatures as standard
• New optional Jaguar InControl^® Touch^™ Pro Duo infotainment system and 12.3-inch interactive driver display, shared with the all-electric I-PACE, are customizable, intuitive and responsive¹²
• First Jaguar model available with Wireless Device Charging
• Enhanced smartphone integration with Apple CarPlay^â and Android Auto^ä standard on all models^3,10
• New optional ClearSight Rear View Mirror designed to offer additional rearward visibility^4,13
• Available Smart Settings technology uses artificial intelligence to learn the preferences of individual drivers and adjusts seat, mirror, audio and climate settings automatically
• Two Ingenium four-cylinder gasoline engines available making 247- and 296HP, badged P250 and P300 respectively
• Elevated entry level specification includes 18-inch wheels, electric leather seats, premium LED headlights and tail-lights with updated signature graphics, front and rear park aid, rear camera and lane keep assist, as standard

2020 JAGUAR XF / XF SPORTBRAKE

The Jaguar XF features a more focused lineup for 2020, including the addition of the new Checkered Flag Limited Edition model, as well as enhanced standard Driver Assistance and connectivity features offered throughout the lineup. The sports sedan is selectively powered by three available gasoline powertrains: two 2.0L Ingenium turbocharged 4-cylinder engines producing 247hp and 296hp, and a 380hp 3.0L supercharged V6 gasoline engine.

• New XF Checkered Flag Limited Edition introduced, featuring a number of unique exterior and interior design elements, a wealth of standard equipment, and a 296hp 2.0L turbocharged Ingenium gasoline engine
• Apple CarPlay^® and Android Auto^™ now standard on all 2020 XF and XF Sportbrake models^3,10
• Front and Rear Parking Aid added to a whole host of standard Driver Assistance features offered across the model line⁴
• New Portofino Blue and Eiger Grey elevate palette of 12 available exterior paint colors

2019 JAGUAR XJ

For 2019, Jaguar XJ lineup grows with the introduction of the new XJ50, celebrating 50 years of the Jaguar luxury flagship. Offered exclusively in long wheelbase specification, the XJ50 offers owners the choice of a 340hp 3.0L supercharged gasoline V6 in RWD or AWD, or a 470hp 5.0L supercharged gasoline V8 powertrain in RWD.

• New Jaguar XJ50 special edition long wheelbase model available with 340hp supercharged V6 or 470hp supercharged V8 gasoline engines
• New Smartphone Pack with Apple CarPlay^® and Android Auto^™ offered as a no cost option^3,10
