- Jaguar SUV in top three in two categories at 2017 World Car Awards

(GENEVA, SWITZERLAND) – March 7, 2017 ‑ The Jaguar F‑PACE is among the finalists for the World Car of the Year and World Car Design of the Year crowns at the 2017 World Car Awards.
The first‑ever performance SUV from Jaguar is one of three cars on the shortlist announced at the Geneva Motor Show. The winner will be revealed at the 2017 New York International Auto Show on April 13, based on the votes of a 75 member judging panel.
The World Car Awards’ jury of international automotive journalists will also determine the World Car Design of the Year winner, with the Jaguar F‑PACE in contention for honors after making the final three.

The initial shortlist for the World Car Design of the Year award was selected by a panel of six design experts including Patrick le Quément, Designer and President of the Strategy Committee, and Sam Livingstone of the Car Design Research consultancy and Royal College of Art.
Since going on sale in May 2016, the F‑PACE has become the fastest‑selling Jaguar ever.

The World Car Awards jury comprises of influential motoring journalists from 24 countries. The F‑PACE redefines the performance luxury SUV, offering the handling and performance of a sports sedan coupled with the versatility and all‑terrain capability of an SUV. The F‑PACE is currently available in the U.S. with prices starting from $41,990(1). All‑wheel drive and a panoramic sunroof are standard, while owners have their choice of two supercharged gas V6 engines (340‑ and 380‑hp, respectively), or a fuel efficient diesel four‑cylinder which produces 318‑lb.ft. of torque and carries an EPA highway fuel economy rating of 33 miles per gallon(3).
