2017 Jaguar F-PACE
The all-new 2017 Jaguar F-PACE is a medium luxury SUV designed and engineered to offer the agility, responsiveness and refinement that Jaguar cars are renowned for, together with the exceptional dynamics and everyday versatility of an SUV. The F-PACE is the latest Jaguar model, alongside the XE and XF, to benefit from the brand's expertise in designing and manufacturing aluminum monocoques. In fact, the F-PACE features the largest amount of the Jaguar-developed RC5754 aluminum alloy yet; one third of the vehicle features this lightweight material, which comprises up to 75 percent recycled material.
Canadian buyers will have their choice of a 3.0L 340hp or 380hp supercharged gasoline V6 mated to an 8-speed transmission with power being routed to all four wheels via a torque-on-demand all-wheel drive system. Both variants are matched to eight-speed automatic transmissions and all-wheel drive. The 380hp engine is exclusive to the F-PACE S models, and can launch the performance SUV from 0-100 km/h in only 5.5 seconds, on to an electronically-limited top speed of 250 km/h1.
Later in 2016, a 180hp four cylinder Ingenium diesel engine will also be added to the model lineup. Designed and manufactured in-house, this state-of-the-art, all-aluminum 2.0-litre engine produces 180hp and 317 lb.ft. of torque; delivering strong acceleration whenever the driver demands it1. It's highly efficient too, achieving excellent fuel economy and low CO2 emissions.
2017 Jaguar XE
A true driver's car, the Jaguar XE redefines the concept of the sports sedan thanks to its advanced lightweight construction, streamlined styling, luxurious interior, and outstanding ride and handling. At launch in Canada, the XE will be available with a buyer's choice of two powertrains; the 35t, a 340-hp supercharged 3.0-litre V6; and the 20d, a 180-hp 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel four-cylinder.
With pricing starting from $45,0004, the Jaguar XE rounds out the modern Jaguar sedan line-up as the new point of entry to Jaguar ownership; joining the new 2016 Jaguar XF mid-size sedan and refreshed 2016 Jaguar XJ full-size luxury sedan. Based on the brand's new aluminum-intensive architecture, the introduction of the XE also gives Jaguar a foothold in the highly competitive North American compact sports sedan segment, significantly expanding potential market reach for the brand in 2016 and beyond.
2016 Jaguar F-TYPE
The 2016 Jaguar F-TYPE will receive substantial upgrades, including the addition of Instinctive All Wheel Drive® (AWD) as standard on R models and an option on S models, an available six-speed manual transmission available on Rear-Wheel Drive V6-powered models, and Electric Power Assisted Steering (EPAS). The fundamentals remain true to core DNA of Jaguar vehicles: lightweight construction, refined power, perfect proportions and outstanding design.
The enhancements broaden the F-TYPE range, from a supercharged V6 driving the rear wheels through a manual gearbox, to the 550hp F-TYPE R Coupe and Convertible with the supercharged V8, AWD and eight-speed Quickshift automatic transmission. The V8's propelling all four wheels helps the R models to accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds on the way to a maximum track speed of 300 km/h1.
The new 2016 model year F-TYPE Coupe and Convertible range will consist of: F-TYPE (340hp, rear wheel drive with automatic or manual), F-TYPE S Coupe (380hp automatic with RWD or AWD, or manual with rear-wheel drive), and F-TYPE R (550hp automatic with AWD).
2016 Jaguar XF
Launched with the choice of two supercharged V6 engines, producing 340hp and 380hp, the XF will be offered in all-wheel drive only in Canada. Preserving the Jaguar dynamic DNA, the AWD features Intelligent Driveline Dynamics which controls the amount of torque distributed to the front and rear axles of the vehicle at a completely variable rate for optimal traction and on-road performance.
Featuring an all-new aluminum-intensive architecture, XF models shed up to 116kg (265lbs) compared to outgoing 2015 models. Designed from the ground-up around a modular aluminum architecture, Jaguar has been able to increase the wheelbase of the new XF 51mm to 2,960mm while decreasing the overall length of the vehicle 7mm to 4,954mm.
2016 Jaguar XJ
The Jaguar XJ delivers the quintessence of British luxury, combining supercharged performance and cutting-edge construction technology with a nearly bespoke-level of interior craftsmanship. The brand's innovative aluminum-intensive construction, combined with advanced standard Adaptive Dynamics suspension, endows the Jaguar XJ with an agile, distinctly sporty driving character that is rare in the segment.
The 2016 XJ range offers two wheelbase lengths, two supercharged engines, and new all-aluminum body construction, contributing to reduced weight and exceptional performance. The AWD system is teamed as standard with the 340hp 3-litre supercharged V6 engine. Above the 3-litre models, the range-topping XJR, also available in both wheelbase lengths, exclusively features a 550hp supercharged V8.
