Jaguar Returns to Britweek as Official Vehicle Sponsor
• Jaguar to showcase latest product lineup, provide
transportation to VIPs and support major BritWeek events
• Jaguar has been key sponsor of BritWeek since 2010
Mahwah, NJ., (April 19 2012) ‑ Jaguar, the renowned British luxury
automotive brand, is pleased to announce its role as the official
vehicle of Southern California's annual BritWeek, a program of
events celebrating innovation and creativity between Britain and
California. As the lead sponsor, Jaguar will support various
BritWeek events and provide transportation throughout the week to
VIPs.
Los Angeles is one of the top three Jaguar markets in North
America. Throughout BritWeek, Jaguar will showcase its latest
product lineup, including the Jaguar XF, XJ and XK vehicles, which
exemplify the craftsmanship, innovation and attention to detail
that defines this classic British automotive brand.
Jaguar will have a key presence at major BritWeek events including
the launch gala on April 24, to officially kick off the
festivities; the annual Innovation Awards Competition dinner (April
25) for Innovation in Technology, Service & Design, where Ian
Callum, Design Director for Jaguar, sits on the panel of judges;
Art Battle, where U.K. and U.S. graffiti artists go head to head in
an artistic competition (April 26); the Variety Film and Television
Summit (April 27); "An Evening with Piers Morgan" Gala benefitting
children's charities (May 4); and the Christopher Guy Design Awards
honoring leading milliner, Philip Treacy (May 5).

Highlighted throughout the week will be the Jaguar XKR‑S.
Introduced in 2012, the XKR‑S is now available in both Coupe and
Convertible styles. It is the ultimate expression of Jaguar's GT
duality: astounding performance with everyday drivability and
comfort. The 550 horsepower XKR‑S can achieve 186 mph and 0‑60 mph
in 4.2 seconds. Only 100 XKR‑S Coupes and 100 XKR‑S Convertibles
will be available for the U.S. market for the 2013 model year. In
addition, the brand's full model year line‑up will be in
attendance, including the XF sports sedan, the XJ full size luxury
sedan and the XK coupe and convertible grand tourer.
