Jaguar Celebrates Sporting Past and Future in Evening Dedicated to Great Sports Cars in New York City
(NEW YORK, N.Y.) April 4, 2012 ‑ It was an evening dedicated to
the future and heritage of great sports cars in New York City
Wednesday night at Jaguar's exclusive reception to celebrate the
exciting announcement of a new Jaguar sport car to be added to its
current product line‑up, the F‑TYPE. Grammy‑winning musician and
producer Wyclef Jean, comedian and actor Tracy Morgan and actor
Michael Williams, were on hand and shared their personal Jaguar
stories and memories.
Guests attending the event, held at STK in New York's Meatpacking
District, were treated to the unveiling of a Jaguar XKR redesigned
by renowned graffiti artist Kaves. Other exceptional Jaguar
vehicles were on display, including silver C‑Type and D‑Type
Jaguars, representing the classic British brand's long‑time
commitment to creating some of the best automobiles in both luxury
and performance capabilities.
"In a world of mass market luxury, Jaguar cars stand out for the
seductive effect of their design, their rich luxury interiors and
their arresting performance," said David Pryor, Brand Vice
President, Jaguar North America. "We're very excited to soon be
adding the F‑TYPE to our incredible product line‑up."
Earlier in the day at the New York International Auto Show, Jaguar
formally announced that an all‑new sports car will enter
production; the Jaguar F‑TYPE. A true two‑seat sports car, the
Jaguar F‑TYPE will launch as a convertible becoming the fourth
model in the current line of innovative and seductive cars, along
with the XF sports sedan, the XJ luxury sedan and the XK
coupe/convertible.
Jaguar also debuted its 2013 Jaguar XK and the 2013 Jaguar XK
Portfolio Pack at the New York International Auto Show to consumers

Jaguar can be, the Jaguar XK provides the perfect blend of sporting
performance and transcontinental comfort.
